San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If you’re looking for authentic, uncompromised Filipino street food, this open-air charcoal setup hits the target dead on. Operating right out of the lot, they grill everything live over open fire and coals with zero shortcuts. Highlights: BBQ Skewers (Pork & Chicken): Perfectly charred, tender, with a sweet-savory glaze and deep charcoal smoke. Authentic Offal Selection: They don't dilute the menu. The chicken feet (Adidas), intestines (Isaw), and blood cubes (Betamax) are cleaned thoroughly, seasoned right, and rendered properly over live heat. Garlic Vinegar Dip: Essential pairing. Cuts through the smoke and fat perfectly. Atmosphere: Raw, open-air parking lot setup with fast, focused grill work. You come here for real fire-cooked street fuel, not white tablecloths. Top tier. Overall, I was excited to come here with my wife. Sadly I can only do it once a week since my days off are Saturday and Sunday. Also the owner is very friendly and welcoming.

The best place for Filipino street foods... It's like you are back home to the mother land. The owner couldn't be so proud of his achievement. VERY WELL organized and the stuff are so welcoming specially for the first timer. Make sure check this place out whenever you're in San Diego. It's worth a visit! 🏍🏍🏍

Last time I was here was about 8 months ago and I left a 5-star reviewβ€”and I’m happy to say nothing has changed. Came back over the weekend and the food quality is still consistent and just as good as before. The ambiance and the owner’s vibe are still the same too (though he’s currently injuredβ€”hope you heal up soon, boss!). I’ve tried Toto’s Grill, Dollar Hits, and the one in Brentwood, but nothing beats ESKENITA. Grabe, malasang-malasa ang food nilaβ€”sulit na sulit every visit! Still a solid 5 stars for me. We’ll definitely be coming back again next month. Salamat! πŸ™Œ

Eskinita in San Diego is the real deal when it comes to Filipino street food. Their skewers instantly brought me back to the Philippines β€” especially the sauce. They got it exactly right. That sweet, tangy, savory flavor tasted just like how I remember it back in the day. I loved the chicken skin and the isaw, perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. Even my American-Mexican boyfriend was obsessed with the chicken skin and the adidas (chicken feet)! He also couldn’t stop talking about how good the sauce was for the kwek kwek and the fish balls. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. The vibe was great, chill, welcoming, and full of good energy. The owner was incredibly warm and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the heart behind the food. Definitely coming back whenever I’m craving legit Filipino street food! πŸ‡΅πŸ‡

If you want to experience Filipino street food then this is the place for you. Not only does the food taste exactly like home, the atmosphere and the vibe of this place will bring you an experience like being in the Philippines. The owner Rich is really nice and caters to all the customers and all the staff are just great. The best part is you get to cook your own skewers! I always make new friends every time I go. It’s honestly the best experience and you leave full and happy!
